Lorenzo Santamaria
My name is Lorenzo Santamaria, a 27-year-old Italian photographer currently based in Oslo, where I have been living for the past three years with my partner.
I work across food photography, restaurant imagery, events, portraits, and model photography. My focus is on creating images that feel natural, honest, and grounded in real moments rather than staged perfection.
Food photography is a central part of my work. I’m interested in translating the care and passion chefs put into their dishes into images that communicate more than appearance. A plate can carry warmth, anticipation, and the simple pleasure of sharing a moment at the table.
Alongside food, I photograph people and environments, from restaurant atmospheres to portraits and live events. My goal is always the same: to capture the feeling of a moment while keeping the subject authentic and recognizable.
